Purpose
- BOLDHASH IBC is licensed as a Virtual Asset Service Provider by the Kuna de Wargandí International Services Authority (KUNAISA) under licence number V0062026. The licence is issued for international use and is not an authorisation by a national financial regulator.
- This notice sets out where our services are not available and how we enforce that. Being able to reach boldhash.io from a particular location does not mean our services are available, supported or lawful there. We provide the services only to clients who approach us on their own initiative; we do not target, solicit, market or promote them in any jurisdiction.
2
Who cannot use the services
- We do not enter into or maintain a relationship with a Restricted Person. A Restricted Person is anyone who is the subject of sanctions administered by the United Nations Security Council, OFAC, the European Union, the United Kingdom or another applicable authority; anyone acting for or on behalf of such a person; anyone resident in, located in, or a national of a prohibited jurisdiction; and anyone with whom we are prohibited from dealing under the law and licensing conditions that apply to us.
3
Where the services are not available
3.1
The Republic of Panama
- Our licence is for international use only and does not permit operation within the Republic of Panama. The services are not available in, and may not be used from, the Republic of Panama, and access from there is blocked.
3.2
Sanctioned jurisdictions
- The services are not available in, and may not be used from, any jurisdiction sanctioned under the OFAC list, or any jurisdiction subject to sanctions or restrictive measures that apply to us or to our banking, payment, liquidity or infrastructure partners.
3.3
Prohibited countries and territories
- We do not establish or maintain a business relationship with, and we block access from, persons resident in, located in, or nationals of the countries and territories listed below. These are classified as prohibited on the basis of our internal risk assessment, our sanctions exposure and our defined risk appetite. Some are included even though they are not subject to comprehensive international sanctions.
- The countries and territories listed below are prohibited. The list is not a reproduction of any FATF high- risk jurisdiction list; it is reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis, and an updated list takes effect when it is published on boldhash.io.

3.4
Higher-risk jurisdictions
- A connection to a jurisdiction identified by FATF as high-risk or subject to increased monitoring, without being prohibited under section 3.3, does not automatically prevent a relationship. It does trigger enhanced due diligence, which may include additional information and documentary evidence of source of funds and source of wealth, more frequent review and lower alert thresholds. We may decline the relationship or a transaction where those measures cannot be completed to our satisfaction.
4
No circumvention
- You must not use our services in, or for the benefit of, a prohibited jurisdiction or a Restricted Person. You must not use a VPN, proxy, anonymising tool or any other technique to disguise your identity, your location, or the source or destination of funds; give false, misleading or incomplete information about your residence, nationality or identity; use another person's identity, account, payment instrument or wallet; or otherwise circumvent or attempt to circumvent our controls. You must not help anyone else do so.
5
What we do if this notice is breached
- Where we identify or reasonably suspect a breach, we may refuse onboarding, block access, decline, delay, suspend or reverse an order, restrict or reject a wallet address, request further information, apply enhanced due diligence, and suspend, restrict or terminate the account, in each case with immediate effect and with or without notice.
- We retain records of these measures as required, and report to KUNAISA or another competent authority where the law requires it. Where we are legally prohibited from doing so, we cannot tell you the reason for a measure or give advance notice of it. We are not liable for loss arising from action taken in good faith to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
6
Changes
- Sanctions regimes, regulatory expectations, partner requirements and our own risk assessment change over time. We may amend the restrictions in this notice, including the list in section 3.3, at any time. Changes take effect when published on boldhash.io, and immediately where required by law, sanctions, or a regulatory or partner requirement.
